Infosys controversy: SEBI chief said- ask questions to Nandan Nilekani or God.
On the Infosys controversy, SEBI chief Ajay
Tyagi said that investigation into the case is going on. Along with this, he
has also reacted to Nandan Nilekani's statement.
Recently, the whistleblowers had made many
serious allegations against the management of the country's top IT Company
Infosys. In this case, Ajay Tyagi, chairman of SEBI regulating the stock
market, said that the investigation of the case is going on. Ajay Tyagi said
that SEBI is investigating the whole matter. As long as its investigation
continues, I cannot say anything about it. Have these allegations been reported
to the American Regulator SEC? In response to this question, he said that the
company is also listed in the US and it is the Confidential between the two
regulators.
Feedback on Nandan Nilekani's statement
Along with this, he reacted to Infosys
Chairman Nandan Nilekani's God-given statement that if anyone wants to ask
anything, he can ask Nilekani or God. Actually, on the allegations of Whistle
Blowers, Nilekani had said that even God cannot alter the figures here.
Nandan Nilekani had said, 'This charge has
been made with the objective of tarnishing the company's image. I have given my
entire life to the company along with my co-founders. Together they have
created this institute which is still working selflessly. According to Nandan
Nilekani, Infosys has a transparent system, looking at it; it can say that even
God cannot change the number. Sebi chief reacted to this statement of Nilekani.
Actually, in the past, the Whistle Blowers
alleged that Infosys' management had made a mess. According to the allegations,
Infosys CEO Salil Parekh and CFO Nilanjan Roy have taken unethical steps to
increase the company's earnings. At the same time, Infosys has entrusted the
investigation to an outside law firm when Infosys dispute increased. After the
report, the company will make it public.
